Sakshi Malik is one of India’s most accomplished wrestlers, with several major accomplishments to her name. She has several state, national, and international titles to her name, including a bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and a silver medal at the 2014 Asian Wrestling Championships. Her most notable feat, however, came in the 2016 Rio Olympics, when she earned a bronze medal, being the first Indian woman wrestler to do so. Malik won bronze in the 59 kg division at the Junior World Championships in 2010. She won a gold medal at the Dave Schultz International Wrestling Tournament in 2014. She won a silver medal in the Commonwealth Games in August 2014. Sakshi earned a bronze medal in the Senior Asian Wrestling Championships in Doha in 2015.
