He is an American professional basketball player for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association. He was chosen with the second overall choice in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers, and he was chosen to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. During his first season with the Pelicans, he got moved to New Orleans, and he became a first-time NBA All-Star and was crowned NBA Most Improved Player.
Ingram commenced his collegiate sports career by playing two exhibition games against Florida Southern and Livingstone. Brandon was nominated for the 2016 United States select team, which practiced with the 2016 United States Olympic basketball program.
