Steve Kerr attended the University of Arizona from (1983 to 1988). He was on the United States national team for the FIBA World Championship in Spain (1986). In that tournament, Steve blew out his knee, causing him to miss the entire 1986–87 season with the Wildcats. In 1988, Along with their colleague All-American teammate Sean Elliott, Kerr helps out the Wildcats to reach NCAA Tournament Final Four. Steve Kerr was a 2-time 1st-team All-Pac-10 selection.
