SSC CGL 2018 Application Status: SSC CGL 2018 official notification was released on 05th May 2018 on the official website. The window was opened for filling the application form for the same for one month from 05th May to 05th June 2018. The Staff Selection Commission holds SSC CGL annually to select candidates for different post-Group B and C. The vacancy is done for different department /organizations /ministries/ for the central government.  Application status can check by candidates in this article. The official notice was released on 05th May 2018 as per the exam schedule

Students who have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream or discipline can apply for the exam as per the official notification.

The exam will be conducted in four tiers or levels always mentioned by Tier-1, Tier-2, Tier-3, and Tier-4.

The application fee is Rs. 100 in INR for aspirants, the reserved category and female applicant will be exempted from any amount of fees.

SSC CGL Application Status

A short brief about Tier 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th:

Tier-1st: SSC Staff Selection Commission will take the exam multiple slots by online computer mode with objective type multiple choice questions.

Tier-2: SSC Staff Selection Commission will take the exam represents of two papers 200 marks for each paper for the subject   English and Quantitative Aptitude.

Tier-3rd It is a descriptive type of examination for tests the written skills of the applicants in English or Hindi.

Tier-4th will be conducted for the post of Assistant Audit exclusively

SSC CGL 2018 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility standards details for the recruitment examination are given below:

  1. Educational Qualifications

Applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree on or before 01.08.2018. Candidates, who are studying in the last year of graduation they can also apply for SSC CGL with their relevant degrees.

SSC CGL form status

  1. A) Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute

Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or Cost or Management Accountant and Company Secretary or Masters  Commerce or Masters in Business Studies and a Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics

  1. B) Junior Statistical Officer

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the specific subjects at degree level
