Ramesh Bidhuri was born in South Delhi, India on July 18, 1961. His astrological sign is Cancer. He was elected as the Member of Parliament for South Delhi in 2014, beating AAP contender Col. Devinder Sehrawat by 1,07,000 votes. Bidhuri served on the Standing Committee on Welfare of Other Backward Classes, the Consultative Committee on the Ministry of Labour and Employment, and the National Social Security Board from September 12, 2014, to May 25, 2019.
On July 31, 2019, he was appointed to the Committee on the Welfare of Other Backward Classes. On September 13, 2019, he was appointed Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
