Krishna was born in Bangalore, Karnataka, India on February 19, 1996. Murli Krishna, his father, was a cricketer who made a name for himself locally. Kalawati Krishna, his mother, is a former volleyball player. Prakurthi Krishna is his younger sister. Prasidh was not initially interested in cricket; instead, he enjoyed volleyball and sports. However, at the age of 12, he attended the Basavanagudi Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and began to notice his abilities. Following that, he joined his school’s cricket team, where he honed his bowling talents under the tutelage of veteran first-class player Prahladrao Srinivasa Murthy.
