Monty Desai Biography, Wiki, Age, Net Worth, Wikipedia: Monty Desai was born in Mumbai, India. He is Indian Cricket Coach. He is currently the head coach of the Nepal national team of cricket. He began his coaching career with the Andhra cricket team, where he led the team in the 2018–19 season of the Indian Ranji Trophy. Monty worked as an assistant coach and head scout for IPL team Rajasthan Royals from 2008 to 2015 after joining the team in between the completion of 1st season. After leaving the Rajasthan Royals, Desai worked as a performance coach for Gujarat Lions for the next two IPL seasons.
Monty Desai joined the Afghanistan cricket team in 2018 and UAE national team as a batting coach in 2019. He was also appointed head coach of the Canadian national team for the 2019 International World Cricket League Division Two. He has also worked with various countries, like Bermuda, USA, India, UAE, Afghanistan, Canada, and Nepal. Currently, he is the head coach of the Nepal national team. Monty has experience working with the Nepal senior team during his stint as a batting coach in the 2015 ICC World T20 Qualifiers.
