Career

From 2008 to 2009, Lee Sung Jin served as a staff writer on the FX comedy series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He then wrote for several other television programs, including Rob & Big, Outsourced, 2 Broke Girls, Silicon Valley, The Real O’Neals, Girlboss, Tuca & Bertie, and Dave. He also developed and directed the short film “Learning How to Speak,” which received the Audience Award at the 2008 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.

Lee Jin launched his television series, Beef, on Netflix in 2023. The program follows two strangers who had a road rage incident and seek to reconcile their differences through therapy.
