Geno was picked by the New York Jets in 2013 and made his professional debut against the Detroit Lions. He was later designated the season’s starting quarterback. He had 3046 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 21 interceptions in the season. The next year, he faced the starting quarterback and ended with 2525 yards and 13 touchdowns. In 2015, he sustained a jaw fracture as a result of a confrontation with IK Enemkpali in the locker room, preventing him from playing in most of the season’s matches.

In 2019, he joined his current team, the Seattle Seahawks, but was released due to internal competition. He was signed again in 2020 and ultimately in 2021, and he made his debut against the Los Angeles Rams.
