CAT 2018 Educational Qualification:
Applicants required to hold Bachelor Degree with at 50% marks or equivalent 05 % exemption will be given extra those candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste or PWD (Persons with Disability) categories, exempted by any University or educational institution as recognized by State or India Government or declared to be deemed as a University possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India.
Percentage marks secured by the candidates would be calculated based on the performance as followed by the University or Institution.
Candidates who are studying in last year or last semester of Bachelor degree or its equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. The IIM will be verify eligibility or candidate’s qualification at time of various stages of the selection.
CAT 2018 Reservations
As per the requirements 15% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC), 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates 27% of seats for OBC (Other Backward Classes) candidates belonging to the “Non-Creamy” layer (NON Creamy Layer-OBC), and 5% for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD).
CAT 2018 Form Fee:
Candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD category: Rs. 950/-
All other candidates: Rs. 1900/-
Candidate’s kindly acknowledge that fee cannot be refundable a applicants needs to pay online fee only once irrespective of the number of institutes he/she is applying for SC, ST and PwD candidates must upload a copy of their belonging to Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste or PWD (Persons with Disability) categories certificates at the time of registration. Fee once paid cannot be refunded after paid.

CAT 2018 Test Centres
At the time of apply online CAT (Common Admission Test 2018) registration, the applicants have to select any 4 Exam Cities as per their preference from the drop down menu. After the last date of registration or apply online applicants will be allotted one among the 4 filled centers subject to availability. In the rare case that an applicants is not allotted any of the preferred center he / she will be allotted a nearby center. The applicants can download the call letter for CAT Exam from 24.10.2018 till 25.11.2018.
CAT will be conducted in centers spread across around 147 test cities. Exam Center will be mentioned in CAT 2018 website and the name of the exam centre will be indicated in the call letter.
CAT 2018 Score
Candidates’ CAT score card will be made accessible at the CAT website. Candidates may also be intimated individually by SMS. The CAT results are likely be declared by second week of January, 2019. CAT score is valid only till December 31, 2019 and will accordingly be accessible on the CAT website.
CAT 2018 Admission Process
Candidates note that each IIM is independent to mandate their own eligibility criteria and follow different selection processes. Performance in CAT exam 2018 is an important component for consideration in the selection process. The CAT Score will valid till 31.12.2019.
