Early Life:-Grover was born in Delhi, India, into a Punjabi Hindu family. His grandfather emigrated from Pakistan during the 1947 split. He graduated from IIT Delhi with a BTech in Civil Engineering and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. He was chosen as an exchange student for INSA Lyon during his senior year, and he attended the program at the University of INSA-Lyon in France from 2002-2003.
Professional Career:- As a consequence of campus placements at IIM, he was appointed as a vice president at Kotak Finance Banking. He has been with Kotak since 2006, or nearly seven years. In 2013, Ashneer began working for American Express (AmEx), a credit card services company. He left American Express in 2015 to become the CFO of Grofers (now known as Blinkit). Grover was designated Head of New Business at PC Jeweller later that year, where he served for a year. He co-founded BharatPe with SashvatNakrani in 2018. He was cast as a shark on Shark Tank India in December 2021. On March 1, 2022, Ashneer Grover resigned from BharatPe.
