Angie Oeh’s life was sadly cut short when she died at the age of 24 on August 19, 2023. On the 14th of August 2023, she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.  On August 15, 2023, Angie Oeh underwent emergency surgery and began chemotherapy treatment. However, she experienced problems during her second session on August 18, 2023, and was sent to the ICU due to low oxygen levels. Despite the greatest efforts of the medical team, her health deteriorated as her organs failed. She died quietly in Life Wilgers Hospital in Pretoria on August 19, 2023, at 17:24. She was surrounded by loved ones, including her girlfriend Jolandri Van Der Walt, her mother Peach van Pletzen, and close friends and family.
